“I am proud to have been delivering quality care to women in our community for over two decades. As the first obstetrician/gynecologist in the area and then the first board-certified ob/gyn, I have been committed to bringing the latest techniques and treatments to my patients. I have enjoyed participating in over 7,000 major life events of my patients — delivering babies to women I delivered a generation ago. In fact, I now have the opportunity to take care of two and even three generations of women in the same family. As a solo practitioner, it isn’t unusual for me to walk into my waiting room and realize I provide care to most, or all, of the female family members who have crossed through our front door.
“That is why I like to treat my patients like family. I enjoy talking to them and will take as much time as necessary to make them feel at home and comfortable with me as their physician. I also want to inform and educate my patients on the importance of a healthy lifestyle. I am honored that so many women in our community have entrusted me with their care. I can say with great certainty that, after more than 25 years total in medicine, I still have a passion for women's healthcare.”

Dr. Billue serves the regions of Northern Alabama (Brindlee Mountain) and Northeastern Alabama (Sand Mountain). With offices located in Albertville, AL and Guntersville, AL, patients come to see him from the surrounding Marshall County and Blount County communities of Cullman, AL, Scottsboro, AL, Arab, AL and Boaz, AL.
“My most important objective is to ensure that all of our patients and their babies have a healthy pregnancy outcome and be able to identify and intervene when problems arise. I also strive to educate patients concerning their pregnancy so they can carry on healthy lifestyles. I gain a person’s trust and confidence by always being truthful, listening to what they have to say and making sure that before they leave this office, they truly understand what is going on with their care.
“I treat my patients the way I would want to be treated: with respect, dignity, honesty and compassion. I truly care about our patients, and I listen and do my best to allay their fears. I want them to feel like I am there for them and that they can feel free to call me and know that I will take their concerns seriously. I see my patients and their families at church, at the ball fields, at the schools and at the local businesses. I feel proud knowing I have contributed to the overall health of this community’s women and children, and I am grateful for the opportunity and ability to help others.”
